CONTENTS OF THE APPLICATION:

- Name and surname of the harmonica performer or the group title and the name and surname of the group leader
-
- Exact details of the contact person (postal and electronic address, phone numbers)

- Names and surnames of all ensemble members and the instruments they play
-
- The programme for the performance: titles of songs and/or pieces and the composers' names
-
- The choice of compositions is at the discretion of the performers
-
- The harmonica has to be the principal conveyor of the musical idea in all ensemble performances
-
- The total duration of the performance for soloists and duos is 5 minutes, for ensembles 8 minutes
-
- A short presentation (maximum 10 lines), to be used as announcement before the performance and published in the bulletin
FESTIVAL SCHEDULE:
-
1. MUSIC WORKSHOP 10 am - 11.30 am
The workshop's topic will focus on the presentation of the Harmonica Manual. The author of the manual Prof. Vladimir Hrovat will present the workshop with the participation of the demonstration group. Workshop is open to everybody. Welcome.

2. AFTERNOON CONCERT at 2 pm
A jury of experts will adjudicate all performances. In accordance with the results achieved, the participants will receive an appropriate acknowledgement: gold (more than 85% of points), silver (70-85%), bronze (55-70%) and a certificate of participation. The jury of experts will select performers for the evening gala concert.

3. GALA CONCERT at 6 pm
Alongside participants chosen from the afternoon concert, special guests will be featured in the evening gala concert.
PURPOSE OF THE FESTIVAL:
-
- To familiarize the widest possible audience with the harmonica and to introduce less known and unknown performers on this instrument alongside renowned, established performers.

- To raise the level of harmonica playing
-
- To pave the path for harmonica to become part of the official education system.
The performers commit themselves to prepare their programmes to a high quality level.
The organizers pledge to assure suitable performing conditions and provide a hot evening meal to all participants.
